Application Of This Privacy Policy

When this Privacy Policy mentions "Foodprint Group," "we," "us," or "our," it refers to Foodprint Group Inc., the entity that acts as the Data Processor of your company’s waste information. Foodprint Group provides mobile and web applications on behalf of commercial organizations (collectively, "Our Clients"). This privacy policy applies to each natural person ("you" or "your") using our web and mobile applications (collectively, the "Services"), as well as any interactions you may have directly with Foodprint Group, be it through reporting a problem or feedback to us or other communication.

Information We Collect And How We Use It

We collect information to provide, maintain, and improve our Services and provide data and analysis back to Our Clients. There are two categories of information we collect: information you give to us and information we collect automatically when you use our Services. Information You Give To Us

Some of our Services require you to provide information directly to us, such as your company’s street address, postal code, phone number or business email address. We always try to collect the minimal amount of information required in order to provide the Services you request. The information we collect depends on which Services you use:

Information Collected by our web-based tools: In order to provide you with key data to run your zero waste program, we collect key information specific to your companies waste management practices, infrastructure and vendors.

Information Collected When You Report Problems or Feedback: If you use our Services to report a problem or submit feedback, we may ask for your email address or other information. This information will be used to solve your problem and reply with a solution or a response. We may also provide you with the option of sending your current location or a photo to us which we use to help understand and resolve any problems you may be experiencing with our Services.

Information Collected through Foodprint Trax, our mobile daily waste tracking application: We provide a service for tracking wasted materials streams. A Client’s waste data is associated with a location and a company, not an individual. Waste Data Collected when a Client uses Foodprint Trax is provided back to the Client with additional analysis.

This includes your device IP Address and information about the areas within our apps that you are viewing.
